Antoni Młynarczyk will spend the next season at Warta Poznań. The 21-year-old winger was loaned from ŁKS Łódź to the first league newcomer, and the agreement does not include a buyout option. At the same time, the Łódź club extended the player’s contract until June 30, 2028, clearly showing that it still has long-term plans for him.

For Młynarczyk, moving to Poznań will be, above all, a chance to perform regularly. Last season, his role in the first team of ŁKS was limited, and high competition in the squad made it difficult for him to get a permanent place in the starting lineup. Warta is to provide him with conditions to rebuild his form and gain experience in the Ekstraklasa.

Not many minutes in the ŁKS first team

In the entire previous competition, Młynarczyk appeared in the ŁKS first team eleven times. In total, he spent just over three hundred minutes on the pitch, which did not allow him to get into the right rhythm and fully showcase his capabilities. He could be seen much more often in the reserve team, for which he made sixteen appearances at the second league level.

This situation prompted the club to look for a solution beneficial to both parties. Staying in Łódź would mean continuing to fight for individual minutes, while a temporary move to Warta may give the winger the regularity needed at this stage of his career.

Worth without the option to buy

The loan will be valid for the next season and does not include the possibility of a final transfer. After the end of the competition, Młynarczyk is to return to ŁKS and compete for a place in the squad again. The extension of the contract until June 2028 additionally secures the interests of the Łódź club.

Warta starts the season as a newcomer in the first league, so the 21-year-old should have the opportunity to play at a higher level than in the reserves. For the Poznań team, he will be a young player with experience gained both in the Ekstraklasa and in the central competitions.

ŁKS still believes in the winger

Sports director Radosław Mozyrko emphasized that the decision on a new contract results from faith in the player’s capabilities and potential. ŁKS authorities decided that the most important element of his development is currently regular minutes, which the club was not able to guarantee him. The loan is intended to help Młynarczyk return to his best form.

The plan assumes that after the season, the winger will be ready to fight for a much more important role in the first team. Therefore, ŁKS does not treat the temporary transfer as a preparation for a final separation, but as an investment in the further development of the student.

63 appearances for ŁKS

Despite his young age, Młynarczyk has already gained a lot of experience in the senior team of the Łódź club. His record so far includes 63 matches, five goals scored and seven assists. In the last season, however, he was unable to break into the team permanently, so a change of scenery became a logical step.

In Warta, he will have the opportunity to prove that he is ready to play regularly at the first league level. A successful loan may open the way for him to return to Łódź in a stronger position and re-enter the competition for a place in the starting lineup.
