Football Kenya Federation president Hussein Mohammed remains in office after the Sports Disputes Tribunal on Monday 27 April.
The court halted resolutions that sought to suspend him and clear the way for McDonald Mariga to assume control of the federation. The interim order freezes a bitter leadership battle that has pushed Kenyan football into another governance crisis.
The dispute began after a section of FKF National Executive Committee members moved to have Mohammed step aside over allegations linked to a reported KSh42 million CHAN insurance deal.
The same resolutions also affected acting chief executive Dennis Gicheru and nominated NEC member Abdullahi Yusuf Ibrahim while Mariga, the FKF vice-president was reportedly positioned to take over in an acting capacity.
That move has now been stopped, at least temporarily.

The Sports Disputes Tribunal certified the case as urgent and issued an injunction preventing the implementation of the 24 April resolutions until the matter returns for further directions.
The case is scheduled for mention on 5 May.
The crisis is no longer only an internal FKF matter. FIFA, working with CAF, has asked the federation to explain how the decision to remove Mohammed and other officials was reached including details on the meeting notice, agenda, quorum, voting and whether the affected officials were given a chance to defend themselves.
FKF has been asked to submit the requested information by 1 May.
