Bewley and Zmarzlik right behind the leader
Bewley is second in the standings. The Briton looked great throughout most of the competition and was the best in the main round, but in the final he had to accept Woryna’s superiority. Despite this, 18 points is a very strong start and an announcement of the fight for the highest goals.
Zmarzlik is in third place with 16 points. It’s a solid opening for the champion, although without a victory. The most important thing for him, however, is that he immediately maintained contact with the leaders and did not allow his rivals to build a large advantage.
The first differences are already visible
Lambert can also be satisfied with the beginning of the series, because the final and 14 points give him a good starting position. Then the losses begin, which will have to be made up for in subsequent tournaments. Lindgren, Doyle and Dudek remain close, but the players placed outside the top seven cannot afford another weaker rounds.
Landshut showed that the season may be less predictable than expected. Woryna used the opportunity perfectly, Bewley confirmed his good form, and Zmarzlik has been in the game since the first tournament. The series has only just started, but the table layout already gives a lot of reasons for emotions.

This year’s Speedway GP includes 10 rounds, three of which will take place in Poland (Warsaw, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Wrocław). Three tournaments will be held in May, two in June, one in July, three in August and one last one in September.
