Sebastián Beccacece announced the list of players called up to the Ecuador national team for the World Cup. Among those chosen was John Yeboah, currently playing for Venezia. He is a player well known from Polish fields, because he previously stood out in Śląsk Wrocław and Raków Częstochowa.

Yeboah has been gaining a stronger position in the Ecuadorian squad for some time now. This was confirmed, among other things, by his performance against Saudi Arabia, in which he recorded two assists. The former German youth international may be one of the players responsible for creativity and acceleration of the offensive game.

The Ecuador national team did very well in the continental qualifiers. She finished just behind Argentina, which was received in the country as a strong signal before the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Beccacece team showed that they can compete with strong opponents and have grounds to think about promotion.

The first goal will be to get out of the group. Ecuador will face Ivory Coast, Germany and Curaçao.
