The Moroccan was one of the brightest figures in the Eredivisie and impressed with his regularity both in front of the opponents’ goal and when creating opportunities for his teammates.
He finished last season with 19 goals and nine assists in 37 appearances. Such numbers made him the best player of the Dutch league in the 2025/26 season. For Bayern, this was a sufficient signal to start transfer talks.
