Ariel Mosór’s career at Raków Częstochowa has clearly slowed down. The young defender, who was recently considered one of the most promising defenders of the young generation in the Ekstraklasa, is currently struggling with health problems and lack of regular games. There is more and more evidence that the environment can change in winter.

The transfer to Raków did not live up to expectations

Mosór joined Raków Częstochowa last summer, and finally joined Piast Gliwice. The move to Jasna Góra was supposed to be the next step in the 22-year-old’s career development and a chance to fight for the highest sporting goals.

However, the reality turned out to be less optimistic. Instead of regular appearances and a stable position in the squad, the defender had to face recurring health problems that effectively hindered his development.

Minimum number of minutes this season

During the ongoing games, Mosór appeared on the field sporadically. He has only four appearances to his credit – three in the Ekstraklasa and one in the European cup qualifiers. This number of minutes certainly does not meet the ambitions of a player who needs regular games to regain self-confidence and pre-transfer form.

The lack of continuity in performances makes the 22-year-old’s situation in Raków increasingly difficult, and the prospects for rapid advancement are not obvious.

Arka Gdynia interested in the loan

In recent weeks, the topic of Arka Gdynia as a potential direction for Mosór is appearing more and more often. The sea club sees the young defender as a player who can significantly improve the quality of the defense and, at the same time, benefit from the change of environment.

Another important factor is the person of the coach Dawid Szwarga, who knows Mosór well since they worked together in Raków. He would play a key role in the process of rebuilding the defender’s form.

The will is there, but finances can be a problem

According to information from Gdynia, the player himself is open to such a move and sees Arka as a real chance for a new start. Changing clubs will help him regain his match rhythm and show his full potential again.

However, the biggest obstacle to transfer can be financial issues. Mosór’s remuneration, determined under the conditions applicable in Raków, may be difficult for Arka to bear, complicating talks on a possible loan.

Raków still associates his future with Mosór

Although the current situation of the player is not easy, Raków Częstochowa does not close the door for him. Since the transfer, Mosór played a total of 16 matches with the Częstochowa club, in which he scored one goal. His contract is valid until the end of June 2028, giving Raków full control over the player’s future.

A possible loan to Arka would be perceived as an investment in the reconstruction of the player, rather than a final separation. The coming months could be decisive for the further development of Ariel Mosór. He needs regular games like oxygen, and a change of environment may be the best solution at this stage of his career.
