Ruch Chorzów confirmed the acquisition of Kacper Laskowski. The 24-year-old midfielder signed a contract valid until June 30, 2028. The contract also includes an option to extend the cooperation for another season.
The transfer took place after activating the release clause included in the player’s contract with Chrobry Głogów. This is an important reinforcement for Ruch, because Laskowski was one of the leaders of the team that was close to promotion in the previous competition.
Chrobry Głogów loses another important player
Chrobry Głogów reached the final of the promotion play-offs, but lost to Wieczysta Kraków in the decisive match. After the season, the team already lost several important players. Among others, Szymon Bartlewicz, Myrosław Mazur, Dawid Arndt and Szymon Lewkot said goodbye to the club.
Now Laskowski is also leaving Głogów. The midfielder joined Chrobry in the summer of 2025 from the reserves of Zagłębie Lubin and quickly won a strong position in the team led by Łukasz Becella. Last season he played in 36 matches, scored eight goals and provided five assists.

Laskowski took his first steps in football in the academies of Miedź Legnica and Zagłębie Lubin. During his career, he was also associated with Carina Gubin and Wisła Płock, before he joined the Lublin club again.
Last year was a breakthrough for him. Playing regularly for Chrobry allowed him to develop and attract the attention of larger clubs. After the transfer, the player emphasized that he made the decision to join Ruch consciously, and he treated the interest from the Chorzów club as a great honor.
